Framing Renovation

Renovation and reuse are often used as popular buzzwords in contemporary architectural theory. At the same time, they are the means and goal of the urgent transition that architecture is facing today. How can we frame those terms without falling in the trap of oversimplification? Is it possible to develop a discursive post-anthropocenic approach to renovation and reuse which would explain the core and context of those terms? 

The online residency program of the Faculty of Architecture will connect 2 selected LINA fellows with established thinkers on the subject and guide them through the process of preparing in-depth papers.
