Forecast – Spring School
In March 2024, the transdisciplinary mentorship program Forecast will conduct a Spring School in Berlin. Through various formats such as mentoring sessions and workshops, the Spring School will offer creatives the chance to connect and to work on their practice. The format of the Spring School is based on Forecast’s experience in transcending disciplines to facilitate creative practices, in particular by bringing together forms of knowledge, ways of working, as well as specific perspectives from the arts, creative industries and scientific research and by putting them into an instructive mode of cooperation. Participants from various disciplines will be welcome to take part in the Spring School for the opportunity of interdisciplinary exchange and work. The Spring School will come about as a collaboration of LINA fellows with alumni from previous Forecast editions. The Spring School will be part of the of the public Forecast Festival at Radialsystem, concluding the eighth edition of Forecast.
What we look for in LINA fellows
Forecast is looking for ambitious thinkers and experimental practitioners who dare to move forward with a novel and promising approach, doubting, probing, taking risks, following their interest in reality rather than overly rigid beliefs or ideologies. We want to experience projects spatially and physically, test materials, take artifacts and tools in our hands.
