Sarajevo Residency [un]context
The five day Sarajevo Residency [un]context invites LINA Fellows to explore together paradigms of contextuality in architecture. With Sarajevo in focus, a place that has not yet been completely controlled and asleep, we will explore new layers and future(s).
The residency will be accompanied by a public event for Sarajevo audience, Nights of Architecture on May 26th, and will result in an exhibition together with work of other LINA fellows and members, as part of the Days of Architecture Biennial programme 15th-22nd of September 2023.
Collaboration with LINA fellows
Three creatives will be invited to present and built up on their work showcased at LINA conference together with LIFT team as part of a residency stay in Sarajevo in May 2023. The residency will focus on knowledge exchange and collaboration between local and international organizations, lecturers and chosen fellows.
Three fellows will apply their knowledge within reuse, sociology, architecture and material research in a new context and create a proposal for a Sarajevo-specific action. The residency will focus on increasing opportunities to learn from each other through interdisciplinary cultural exchange and interaction, and by creating a culturally sensible approach will open possibilities for new perspectives for addressing the theme of Days of Architecture Biennial 2023.
