On Renovation

Renovation and reuse resound as popular buzzwords in architectural theory. They are the means and goal of the much needed transition architecture is facing today. How can we frame those terms without falling in the trap of oversimplification? Is it possible to develop a discursive post-anthropocenic approach to renovation and reuse which would explain the core and context of those terms? 

The online residency program of the Faculty of Architecture will offer 2 selected LINA fellows the possibility to publish their essays on the subject of renovation in an established media and present their work on site in Ljubljana. 

The programme is a continuation of the 2023/25 programme, which featured a collaboration between FA and eFlux.
